How do you feel about pushing boundaries?

- No, not yet.

- Cutting it down to five pages. I have so much more to say!

- Keeping my writing “acceptable.” I like to be experimental, and my teachers don’t like it very much.

- Following the instructions. I know what I want to write about, but I need to blend it with what the teacher wants.

- I think I’m pretty even keeled.
- I like to give all of my emotions time and attention, but I don’t think they’re stronger than most people’s.
- I have a lot of anger, but I don’t have other emotions that are very strong.
- I have so many emotions I have no idea what to do with them. I feel everything really intensely.

Your manager tells you that you need to adjust your songs so that they sell better. What do you do?
- I listen. They’ve been in the business a long time, so I’m sure they know what they’re talking about.
- No way would I change just to sell records!
- I might listen long enough to hear their opinion, but I’ll make my own choice.
- I think I have a good idea of what I should do. I’m competent — I don’t need anyone to talk down to me.

- Of course. I’m a pretty easy person to understand.
