Part of the magic of The Voice is the ability to get advice from celebrity coaches who are established in the industry. What type of advice have you been given from your one-on-ones with your coach?
- To put more emotion into my songs and how to connect with the audience.
- To be bolder with my song choices and be unafraid to venture out of my comfort zone.
- To get out my head and not worry about the technicality of the song but rather focus on having fun.
- To work on my stage presence and not be so stationary when I preform.
It’s the battle round! You and another member of your team have been paired together to do a duet where only one of you survive. What are you most nervous about for this performance?
- Being outshined by my duet partner.
- Not nailing the harmonies in the duet.
- That the song choice is more tailored for my duet partner then me.
- That I don’t meet the coaches’ expectations of me.
Coaches choose guest mentors that come in to help coach their team. Who would you like to see as the guest mentor for your team?
You just came out of the battle round, but your duet partner beat you. Luckily, your performance was so well done that a coach decided to use their steal on you. Why did they choose you for the steal?
- They turned for me during my audition song and have been wanting to work with me since then.
- Nobody else in the competition sounds the way I do.
