There’s the never ending immediate pace, the trolls, the unhappy reviews and irrational customers who will never be satisfied. Ok we've tackled the basics, let's get a little more intense. Someone comments on a post that includes the date and time of an event, asking for the date and time of the event. How do you respond?
- Respond again with the relevant information and an invitation to join!
- Respond and tell them to reread the post, as the information is contained there.
- Hide the comment.
- Ignore the comment. It’s not helpful to draw attention to it.
You get a negative review on FB. What do you do?
- Pass on the feedback to the rest of the company so we can improve
- Ignore the review
- Respond to the review and give our side of the story
- Contact the customer and provide them with a small gift certificate or other item to improve their perception
How do you handle trolls?
- I have a few people in my community who I can ask to come to my defense
- I respond with clear information when necessary, but don’t engage
- Mockery is the only available response for these people
- Don’t feed the trolls: just don’t respond
- I get so frustrated when people insult my company. I respond point by point so everyone knows exactly what is wrong with their argument.
